East Carolina JVC 17's Take 23rd
in the 2009 Jr. Olympic Nationals

The East Carolina JVC 17's Team played in the highest level of 17 and Under competition, the OPEN division, of the USA-Volleyball Jr. Olympic National Championships, June 27 - July 1. The event was held in Miami Beach, FL.

Going 1-6 (10 W -18 L in sets), with each game going 4 or 5 sets, the ECJVC team finished 23rd overall. Matches included play against MAV, MAVA, Alamo, Minnesota Select, California Jrs., Sunshine, and Dallas Premier. 

The ECJVC team includes Brittany Adams, Kaitlin Anderson, Pammy Craigle, Jamie DeRatt, Caroline Douglas, Taylor Hardee, Emily Neideffer, Aubrey Rushing, and Caroline Wainright. ECJVC 17's are coached by Chris Rushing.
